San Diego's 1st tweed run

A really great-looking crew. I won't pretend I'm not a little bit jealous that S.D. can have a run in the middle of December. Pictures at Velo Cult

Great run everybody. It was fantastic to ride with old friends and make new ones.
Bound together by the power of tweed!

the weather is going to be great!

Tips for bicycling in cool weather...
a. Dress in layers. It's always cold when you first start off, but you'll warm up quick.
Be prepared to remove (and store) layers as our journey unfolds.
b. Fingers and toes will always be cold. This time of year, light gloves and
wool socks will keep the 'tips cozy.
c. The sun is setting pretty quick these days. Front and back lights on our
bikes will help signal drivers not showing the love for our two-wheeled tweedness.

The route is about 8.5 miles. Thanks Gmap Pedometer!
